NRF24L01 2.4 GHz Wireless Transceiver Module (PCB Antenna)

The NRF24L01 is a 2.4 GHz wireless transceiver module for sending small data packets between two or more microcontrollers. This version has a PCB trace antenna and an 8-pin (2 × 4) header, and talks to Arduino, ESP32 or STM32 boards over SPI.

Practical notes

Power the module from 3.3 V, never 5 V. The signal pins accept 5 V logic, so it works directly with an Uno. Add a 10 µF capacitor across VCC and GND close to the module: most "it doesn't work" problems with the NRF24L01 are power-supply dips. The RF24 library in the Arduino IDE is the usual starting point. For easier wiring from 5 V, use the NRF24L01 adapter board.

Range depends heavily on walls, interference and data rate. For longer range, choose the NRF24L01+PA+LNA with SMA antenna.

Do I need two modules?

Yes. One module sends and the other receives, so a link always needs at least two.
