GP2Y0A02YK0F Compatible IR Distance Sensor 20–150 cm

This analog infrared distance sensor is compatible with the Sharp GP2Y0A02YK0F. It measures distances from 20 to 150 cm, nearly twice the reach of the 10–80 cm model, and outputs a voltage that changes with distance for any microcontroller's analog input.

Practical notes

The output is not linear with distance, so use a lookup table or a curve fit. Readings below 20 cm are ambiguous. Add a 10 µF capacitor between VCC and GND near the sensor. For shorter distances, choose the 10–80 cm model.
